The job hunt that is. There is something entertaining about reading job postings. The one qualification that always cracks me up is, "excellent oral and written communication skills." I would particularly enjoy seeing the position that requires poor or even average communication skills. I wonder what job that would be. Security guard on a night shift? Truck driver? Production line operator? Not to say that any of these jobs are bad jobs, but they strike me as the type that would not be very communication intensive. Will post more job search related musings as I come across them.

ha ha I see how you could see it that way...but being on the recruiting end, I have to admit that communication skills are probably the number one thing that I look for in ANY position. I've interviewed people that look great on resumes but have no communicative abilities what so ever when you bring them in...if they can't communicate their thoughts to me in an interview, I have to assume that they won't be able to communicate with thier co-workers or their managers. I would think even a night guard would need some writing communication skills for reports. :-)
employers look online these days...make sure your blog is untraceable to you...also would be bad if people at your work read this blog and tip off someone that you are job hunting...
