We are the 99 Percent
I stumbled upon this website the other day. Reading the posts on this site breaks my heart. I don't know what to say much less what to think. I feel selfish, but one of the only things I think is to be grateful for everything we have. I can safely say we are NOT the 1%, but I'm confident that we are not nearly as bad off as the people posting to this site. The scariest part about the economic situation today is that people across all demographics are affected.

That was thoroughly depressing.
While we are all aware of the difficult times people young and old are going through, when you put faces and actual situations to the general references we read about it is definitely heartbreaking. I am surprised that two things have not happened as a result of the ensuing despair: more suicides (I did read of a 50-year-old woman who gave up and committed suicide), and no one has gone postal at bankers and elected officials.
